How do I order Cain wines?
To order any allocated wines, please join our mailing list. In the spring and fall, you will receive an allocation of newly released wines. Occasionally, we offer special reward allocation offers to the active subscribers on our mailing list.

When an allocation period is open, wines will be offered for a specified time only, or until they are sold out. Quantities are limited, and all orders are processed in the order in which they are received.

How will my wine be delivered?
All shipments are carefully packed in insulated containers and are shipped via FedEx or UPS 2 day service. When choosing your shipping address, please keep in mind that an adult signature is required for delivery. We recommend shipping to a business address.

Shipping Policy:
The goal of our shipping policy is to deliver our wine to you in perfect condition—in the same condition as if you had purchased it at the winery.

  • We offer flat rate shipping. Orders that ship to a California address are $25 per case; all orders to the other contiguous states to which we can legally ship are $30 per case; and to Alaska and Hawaii, $50 per case.
  • We ship via FedEx  or UPS 2 day service on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so that you will receive your wine within the same week in which it is shipped.
  • We do not ship on Friday in order to protect your wine from being stored in a warehouse over a weekend.
  • Your credit card will be charged soon after your order is placed.
  • Your wine is carefully packed in an insulated shipping container, and it will ship via FedEx or UPS 2 day unless you opt for overnight service, which is an additional fee. A signature by an adult 21 years or older is required for delivery. FedEx requires a picture ID to verify legal age (21).
  • We strongly recommend that you ship to a business address.

Extreme-Weather Shipping Policy:
During summer periods of high heat (temperatures higher than 85 degrees at the origination and/or destination address), or during winter periods of extreme cold (temperatures below 32 degrees at the origination and/or destination address), we will hold your order and monitor the weather daily.

  • If weather conditions do not change in a reasonable amount of time, we will contact you and you may ship your order via FedEx Priority Overnight at an additional cost.
  • When weather conditions are no longer a threat to the wine, we will return to our usual policy of shipping via FedEx 2 day service on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
  • An adult 21 years or older must receive and sign for the wine shipment.
  • We strongly suggest using a business shipping address.

When will I receive my wine?
Weather permitting, all orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday, so deliveries can be expected Wednesday through Friday; this schedule prevents any possible weekend storage in shipping warehouses.

Will I know when my wine has shipped?
By providing an e-mail address, you will receive notification that your package has shipped. You will also receive a FedEx tracking number.

Why won’t you ship wine to my state?

I received my wine shipment and it’s damaged. What do I do?
Cain Vineyard & Winery is not responsible for damage incurred during shipment or from packages left unattended. However, your satisfaction is our top priority. Please call us immediately, and we will do our best to help you resolve the situation in a timely manner.

Is my personal information safe?
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Cain Vineyard & Winery will never sell or share personal information about you with anyone. Any personal information that you provide while you are on our website is kept strictly confidential and is solely for our own use. Your payment information is captured with secured server technology. This SSL encryption protects your information and ensures that your credit-card information remains secure. Terms and Conditions:
We make no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside California. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of alcoholic beverage products. Alcoholic beverages may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. In placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom you are directing delivery is at least 21 years old. When your alcoholic beverages are delivered, the person receiving delivery may be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.
